reversible scrap patchwork basket made for project:quilting
Patchwork basket
I used a free pattern that I found on treasurie The pattern was quite easy to follow and I finished the basket, including making my patchwork fabric in only a couple of hours. .
Instead of using just one fabric for my interior and another for my exterior, I made patchwork fabric, which I then cut to the 17 by 17 inch size pieces that I needed to make the storage basket. I count this project as a success. I completed it I time to enter the competition and it is made from only scrap fabric. I even used up an orphan block. It only took me only one evening, and it was fun. My goal is to challenge myself to make another ten or so baskets, one for each color of fabric scrap that I've collected. I intend to use the same pattern for all, I was happy with the simplicity and adaptability of her basket. and I look forward to project: quilting's next challenge.
